Umpiring in the Market Harborough Netball League

Welcome to the umpire’s page where information on training, courses, updates and rules will be available. 

Officials make our game! Without umpires, there is no netball so we take pride in not only providing pathways for new umpires but also creating opportunities for qualified umpires to continue to develop.

To enter our league, each team must have a minimum of one C Award Umpire or two umpires in training who have completed their Into Officiating course who will progress to C Award as soon as a course becomes available to them. The league will financially support their progress as well as offering mentoring to facilitate the learning of new umpires or those still gaining confidence.

The league will also run an umpiring workshop at the start of each season. To umpire league matches, you must have attended this update, or the update at another Leicestershire league.
