About Senior Competition Squad

Trials for our Intermediate and Senior Competition Squads are open to all from U13 upwards to U21 at the start of September each season. However, we ask that if you are successful at trial and join our comp squad, you do not play for any other local team, as these squads are aimed at Regional netball and beyond, where playing for more than one team is not allowed. Training runs alongside the age group sessions (if under 16 or younger), but at a higher intensity, more skills driven and strategic level. Competitiveness is increased as these squads are entered via invitation post trial and therefore commitment to some training outside of set court time is also expected. These squads will compete at Regional U14 and U16 level, aim to qualify for the adult regional league, will enter national competitions and the aim to qualify for the the prestigious National Clubs finals at U16. The cohort also enter the MH adult league as Vanelli’s Vixens. Adult league matches are on a Saturday afternoon and regional matches on a Sunday for U16s and adult. We support these squad players though county pathways (up to the age of U15) and through franchise pathways at Loughborough Lightning and Wasps, U15/U17/U19 and U21 cohorts.
