Competition Squads & Vanelli Vixens

About Intermediate Competition Squad

Trials for our Intermediate and Senior Competition Squads are open to all from U12 to U16  at the start of September each season. However, we ask that if you are successful at trial and join our comp squad, you do not play for any other local team, as these squads are aimed at Regional netball where playing for more than one team is not allowed. Training runs alongside the age group sessions (if under 16 or younger), but at a higher intensity, more skills driven and at a strategic level. Competitiveness is increased as these squads are entered via invitation post-trial and therefore, commitment to some training outside of set court time is also expected. We aim for these squads to compete at Regional U14 level or we may enter alternative performance level leagues with the aim to qualify for the prestigious National Clubs finals at U14.  We support these squad players through the England Netball pathway.

About Senior Competition Squad

We aim for the senior competition squad to compete at Regional U16 level or we will enter alternative performance level leagues. We will also enter national competitions with the aim to qualify for the prestigious National Clubs finals at U16. We support these squad players through England Netball pathways.

About Vanelli Vixons

Our Vanelli Vixons squad is made up of current and previous Senior Competition Squad players up to the age of U18. They play in the Market Harborough Netball Adult League which is run on Saturday afternoons at the Market Harborough Leisure Centre Arena and will train once a week with the Competition Squad.
